We love celebrating Christmas here at Manchester United Methodist Church and hope you’ll celebrate Jesus’ birth with us at any of our Christmas Eve services! As we do with our weekly worship service, we are committed to offering both in-person and online worship options this Christmas Eve. All online services, both posted and streamed live, are available on our YouTube channel.
Please note that under our current COVID-19 guidelines and as Washtenaw County remains at above a “high” level of risk for viral transmission, we are continuing to ask everyone to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Candlelight Worship
Celebrate Jesus’ birth at this candlelight service which will also include communion and a special children’s message.
11pm, In-Person & Online:
Candlelight Worship
This candlelight service includes communion and concludes with the opportunity to continue worshipping outside as we welcome in Christmas day by caroling under the stars! All are welcome to worship both inside and outside, or to arrive at 11:45pm for singing outside.
5pm, Online Only:
Christmas Story Worship
Watch online as a number of familiar faces from around the congregation tell the story of Christmas interspersed with favorite Christmas carols!
On Demand:
Fireside Worship
This short service will be available on YouTube early morning on Christmas Eve to use for an at-home worship at any time throughout the day.
