Dillon Burns, Pastor
Dillon has served as the pastor at Manchester United Methodist since 2017. Though a Michigan native, he came to Manchester after several years in Texas where he received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Christian University and a Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology. He married his wife, Jennifer, in the summer of 2015. As pastor, Dillon is passionate about creating opportunities for all people to experience the transforming love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Tina Zimmerman, Deacon
Tina has been a part of the Manchester UMC community for many years, always with an interest in Christian formation as a lifelong process. She answered God’s call to ordained ministry beginning in 2007 and became an ordained Deacon in 2014, continuing her work at Manchester UMC. She also served as Associate Director of Spiritual Life (Chaplain) at a retirement community, which is work that she deeply loved. Most recently, Tina has begun a private practice in personal coaching called Beloved River Life Coaching. That work involves entering into deep listening with clients and helping them to find clarity in their God-inspired life. Personal coaching is extremely helpful for issues of family relationships, career goals, personal growth and many others. Jody Sharrow, Secretary
Jody joined the Manchester United Methodist Church staff as secretary in 2014 after many years in the congregation. She is married and mother to three daughters. Jody grew up in Bay City, Michigan and earned a BA in English (writing) from Adrian College and a MA in English Literature from Western Michigan University. Always willing to help, she is happy to be working where she can be an instrument of God’s love.
Noreen Wolcott, Organist
Noreen has been the organist at Manchester United Methodist Church for many years. She began her career in church performance while in high school, playing piano for her home congregation, and has honed her craft ever since. Parallel to her career in music, Noreen has a degree and long work history in journalism. She enjoys traveling, rediscovering music from her sheet music collection, and helping craft meaningful worship services.
Todd Ducsay, Custodian
As custodian, Todd is a strong believer that there are many ways to serve God and his church. Ensuring the cleanliness of church for worship and community events for all to experience is a key weekly priority. Todd grew up in the U.P. and earned a BA in International Studies/Anthropology from Michigan State University. When not working, Todd enjoys spending time with his family (wife, Jody and daughters, Emma, Ava and Grace), bicycling, hiking and gardening,
