Dillon Burns, Pastor
Dillon has served as the pastor at Manchester United Methodist since 2017. Though a Michigan native, he came to Manchester after several years in Texas where he received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Christian University and a Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology. He married his wife, Jennifer, in the summer of 2015. As pastor, Dillon is passionate about creating opportunities for all people to experience the transforming love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Tina Zimmerman, Deacon
Tina was ordained a deacon in 2014 and is a graduate of Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. Manchester United Methodist Church has been her home congregation since 1994 and before ordained ministry, she served as both a volunteer and professional Christian educator. In addition to her work with the congregation, Tina serves as a chaplain at the Chelsea Retirement Community. Tina and her husband, Gregg Sucha, have been married for over 30 years and are the parents of four grown daughters. As a deacon, Tina loves teaching and storytelling, helping to build relationships, and sharing the love and grace of God with anyone and everyone!
Jody Sharrow, Secretary
Jody joined the Manchester United Methodist Church staff as secretary in 2014 after many years in the congregation. She is married to Todd Ducsay and mother to three daughters. Jody grew up in Bay City, Michigan and earned a BA in English (writing) from Adrian College and a MA in English Literature from Western Michigan University. Always willing to help, she is happy to be working where she can be an instrument of God’s love.
Noreen Wolcott, Organist
Noreen has been the organist at Manchester United Methodist Church for many years. She began her career in church performance while in high school, playing piano for her home congregation, and has honed her craft ever since. Parallel to her career in music, Noreen has a degree and long work history in journalism. She enjoys traveling, rediscovering music from her sheet music collection, and helping craft meaningful worship services.
Todd Ducsay, Custodian
As custodian, Todd is a strong believer that there are many ways to serve God and his church. Ensuring the cleanliness of church for worship and community events for all to experience is a key weekly priority. Todd grew up in the U.P. and earned a BA in International Studies/Anthropology from Michigan State University. When not working, Todd enjoys spending time with his family (wife, Jody and daughters, Emma, Ava and Grace), bicycling, hiking and gardening,
Laura Kreklau, Child Care Provider
Our child care provider for a number of years, Laura serves in the nursery where she cares for the youngest members of our church family. Often, Laura will put her creative skills to work as she develops crafts and projects to engage the children in bible lessons during worship.
