Prayer of Confession
Lord of all good things, we confess that we want your grace for ourselves, but are often stingy when sharing that grace with others. We judge the motives of others while ignoring the faults of our own. Forgive us, dear Jesus. God, you are gracious and merciful. We put our trust in you. Amen.

Prayer of Thanksgiving
These offerings we present to you, O Lord. Because you have so richly blessed us, we bring our morning offering in gratitude for all you have done and continue to do in our lives. May these gifts be used for ministries of love and reconciliation through this community of faith. Amen.
Prayers of the People
Affirmation of Faith (UMH 882)
We are not alone; we live in God’s world. We believe in God: who has created and is creating, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit. We trust in God. We are called to be the Church: to celebrate God’s presence, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God. Amen.
