Prayer of Confession

Dear God, we often look at the miracles that you have done in our lives and call it “coincidence”. How foolish of us! Forgive us for the times we missed that it was you who blessed us. Fill us with joy, in your name. Amen.

Prayer of Thanksgiving

Lord of Wisdom, we faithfully believe that you are God of all. Yet, we allow our personal living to determine our personal giving. Enable us to be generous givers whose giving is not controlled by our personal wants. Awaken our spirit to the knowledge that we have a limited time to give to your ministries. We pray in the name of our beloved Jesus. Amen.

Affirmation of Faith (UMH 882)

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
