Confession: God of goodness, we confess that we want your grace for ourselves. We judge others’ motives, and even wish hurt on others while ignoring our own faults. Forgive us, we pray, when pettiness and jealousy overtakes our hearts. We ask for your mercy and help to be merciful towards others in the name of Jesus Christ, by whose grace we are saved. Amen.
